About Us

Golden Years Homecare is locally owned and operated by Elda Catley and her daughter, Sarah Catley, and specialises in providing premium in-home companion care for seniors.

“We enable our clients to remain safely in their own homes and stay independent. We believe people should be able to live life on their own terms, so we seek to keep our clients as independent as possible, just with a helping hand.” — Elda.

Originally from Hamilton, Elda moved to the beautiful Bay of Plenty later in life, where she raised two children and co-owned and operated a local furniture manufacturing business for over 10 years. She then went on to work in the aged care industry in Tairua, where she truly found her calling in helping people. Elda has since returned to Tauranga and has been supporting local residents ever since.
